go for it!

general knowledge about x-men and mutants is fine! please don't tell her she's made-up!
anything else?
lorna is canonically PREGNANT & expecting with her boyfriend. in-game she's "frozen" through super advanced magical science in her first trimester. for the purposes of memes and stuff i usually au this out or don't mention it at all, with the exception of interacting with the gifted castmates, in which case i default to pregnant lorna. happy to do either!

IC
hugging
if you are a mutant go ahead, she might tolerate it! close cr is best for this.
kissing
would need to happen in a situation of extreme danger with someone she trusts enough to put herself out there with. assumed cr works for memes!
flirting
for sure always please, she is her father's weirdo daughter after all.
fighting
"for sure always please, she is her father's weirdo daughter after all." -- that can't be a good sign.
injuring
yep! let's discuss first, though!
killing
not against it but please discuss with me first!
telepathy/empathy/the force
lorna's got a lot of pain and a lot of anger, but she doesn't have any resistance to telepathy! feel free to sense her rage and grief at her people's suffering, her desperation to protect the next generation of mutants, and beneath that her own private sadness that she might have to give up her own dreams at a normal life to ever have what she wants.
magic
lorna will assume you're a mutant and even if you aren't, you're cool by her. let's do it!
triggers
mutant rights, children in danger, injustice against minorities, imprisonment, families. she refuses to acknowledge magneto as her father, stating that her father is the man who raised her, a human pilot who died in a crash. doubtless, though, it is clear that lorna grapples with the truth of her heritage.
anything else? lorna is canonically pregnant. played at 2-3 months, solidly first trimester, and frozen in that state for game logic. can be played either way for memes, but her devotion to the next generation has a more personal motivation obviously, if left as-is.

metal sense - lorna is able to feel any metal around her, including surgical implants.

metal manipulation - lorna has command over metal objects, reshaping them at will or moving them around with the powerful magnetic fields generated from her hands.

floating/flying - lorna started wearing metal bracelets and steel-toed boots at 16 because she found out she could fly by manipulating her own magnetic fields.

electromagnetic manipulation - lorna has been shown to knock out the lights in a warehouse with her powers, and later offers to dismantle a power plant's security with the same.

electromagnetic sense - while in the prison van with reed strucker, lorna tells him that she is able to sense radiowaves around herself as well.

mother bear strength ?? - while not mentioned in the wikipedia, the most recent episode "3 X 1" shows a change in lorna's powers. the telepath esme frost and lorna both say that the baby is "changing" lorna and making her stronger. later in the underground's base, lorna is able to move a 6,000 pound vault door with just a flick of her wrist, and excitedly tells marcos that before she'd never have been able to move that much metal with that little effort.

all this being said! please feel free to comment here if your character has a metal implant you'd like lorna to notice, or is some kind of synthetic artificial intelligence. anything metal or electronic/electromagnetic you think she'd pick up on!

the other thing is: lorna is canonically about 2-3 months pregnant by my estimate (we see many full-body shots of her and she isn't showing, so that's the educated guess i'm making.) for the purposes of in-game rp, her pregnancy will be frozen upon entry to her new setting. however, she will still "technically" be pregnant. lorna is also bipolar and occasionally struggles with her mental health.

if you'd like to opt out of interaction involving any of these topics, or to opt out of cr entirely, i totally get it! please feel free to comment here with all journals that applies to.

thanks!

So I tend to see Ava as having a higher content of metal in her body, especially in game as she's been doing things like electrolysis with her body as a conduit. Which I'm totally up for Lorna noticing, but her powers might be the bigger signal, tbf

As I mentioned briefly on the ooc com, Ava has weird energy powers. Her body constantly generates energy, which seems to fall on the electro-magnetic spectrum as that seems to be easiest for her; she can create EMPs, etc. So, I imagine that for Lorna Ava would probably stick out a whole lot, picking her out in a crowd is probably super easy and obvious. She does tend to choke her powers down most of the time for the comfort of other people, since otherwise they have a very visceral effect on her body (ie, she turns her skin to energy) which Lorna might be able to notice. #repression for fun profit

Basically, feel free to pick up on Ava's... everything. Girl is capable of generating enough energy to stop trains and then some.

Re: the bipolar stuff, basically just for anything where it's a high-key focus, like she's having an episode or such, just gimme a heads up first? I'm generally pretty cool with whatever but sometimes it can be oocly difficult.

And just a casual heads up, but I imagine Ava's backstory probably hits a lot of Lorna's triggers if they ever get to that point. Terrible parents, experimentation/imprisonment, child torture, and once she gets powers pretty much everyone treats her like she's a walking timebomb. So. There's that.

Simon’s an artificial intelligence of the “human brain stored on a hard drive” variety and, while not fully synthetic, full of metal, much of which is internal and described as “calibrated ferrofluid”. It’s robot goop (part of an A.I. hivemind that it’s now disconnected from, so, inert) that melds things together. All kinds of things. In addition, he’s got a battery embedded in his chest somewhere and robot bits on a stick for a face.

In canon, creatures created through the same methods as Simon have borderline-Lovecraftian energy signatures which cause physical pain and visual glitching in himself and some other human-mind robot-brain critters (though he doesn’t seem to cause this effect, because it’s there to make things Spooky). He might just have a general electromagnetic aura of “what the fuck is this”, if that’s a thing she can sense. He’s a mess I’m sorry.
